You could benefit from installing a combi boiler, such as a Worcester Bosch 24i junior - this will allow you to take out your hot water cylinder and tanks and just have the boiler itself installed in your kitchen. Thermostatic radiator valves installed on the radiators will also allow you to adjust the temperature in each room. This boiler is energy efficient, SEDBUK A rated, and hence will meet your requirement to be environmentally friendly. The manufacturer claims that the design converts up to 97% of energy consumed into heat.

I am looking to replace my boiler with a more up-to-date one which will:
- allow me to adjust the heat on radiators
- be environmentally friendly
- fit in a small kitchen of a small flat
- not require a large water tank.

What would be a suitable boiler and what would the estimated cost of installation be if the current 8 yr old boiler was removed?

It is difficult to quote a price without reviewing the property as the price includes full installation costs. It is important to ensure that the right type of boiler is selected to meet the needs of your family and that the power rating is matched to your needs. The installation must also comply with the latest regulations which have changed in recent years. npower have trained heating advisors who can visit customers properties to complete an accurate survey for the right boiler before a firm quotation is issued, an inaccurate quote which changes as the facts are established is not a good service to customers.

How much roughly would a boiler like this cost me to have in replacement for my old boiler? My boiler at the moment is a regular boiler.
